Tallow

At Naturally Made, we are firm believers in the benefits of tallow. Tallow has been used for centuries to make soap due to its cleansing properties and skincare benefits. Tallow contains a variety of beneficial vitamins such as Vitamin E, D, K and A. Tallow works with your skin’s natural oils to create a healthy, protective barrier that promotes healing and rejuvenation. Our soaps are crafted with care using only the highest quality ingredients, including locally sourced tallow.

Lard

Lard, rendered from pig fat, possesses a unique set of properties that make it beneficial for skincare and soap making. Rich in moisturizing fatty acids like oleic acid, lard helps to replenish the skin's natural oils, promoting hydration and softness. Its composition closely resembles human skin lipids, allowing for better absorption and integration into the skin's barrier. Additionally, lard contains vitamin E, which is an antioxidant known for its skin-nourishing properties, helping to protect against premature aging. When used in soap making, lard contributes to a creamy lather and a gentle cleansing experience, suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and dry skin. Its ability to produce a stable and long-lasting bar makes it a favored ingredient in traditional soap recipes, offering users a luxurious and moisturizing bathing experience.

Coconut Oil

Organic coconut oil is a prized ingredient in soap making, valued for its numerous skin-loving benefits and versatile properties. These properties make coconut oil an excellent choice for cleansing the skin, effectively removing dirt, grime, and impurities while helping to combat acne-causing bacteria. Additionally, coconut oil is highly moisturizing and helps to replenish the skin's natural oils, leaving it soft, supple, and hydrated. Its lightweight texture allows for easy absorption, making it suitable for all skin types, including oily and sensitive skin. In soap making, organic coconut oil contributes to a rich, luxurious lather that gently cleanses without stripping away essential moisture, resulting in a refreshing and rejuvenating bathing experience. Furthermore, its stability and ability to produce a hard bar of soap ensure longevity, providing you with a long-lasting and indulgent product.

Olive Oil

Olive oil is known to create luxurious and nourishing bars. Firstly, olive oil is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and fatty acids, such as oleic acid, which work together to moisturize and protect the skin. This makes it ideal for maintaining skin hydration and combating dryness, leaving the skin feeling soft, supple, and rejuvenated.
